Rio Bueno is located between two parishes, Trelawny to the west and St Anns to the east. The town is known for having the deepest deep harbour in Jamaica. The river was named by Christopher Columbus on his first voyage to Jamaica, as this was his point of entry.
The river attractions includes river boarding, river kayaking, river rafting, river tubing, swimming, Tarzan rope swinging across the river and diving in the cool waters of Rio Bueno.
To get to the river, you make a short walk through the lust rain forest and the guides will provides demonstration on how to navigate the rapids of the Rio Bueno. You also have the option to take a lazy trip down the river where the guide will safely navigate through the rapids and guide you down to the beach.
